What You Need:
- ½ C milk
- ½ C almonds
- 1 banana, peeled and sliced
- 1 TBSP honey
- 2 TBSP vanilla yogurt
- 1/8 tsp. vanilla extract
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 4 ice cubes
How to Make It:
- Pour the milk into the blender.
- Add the almonds, banana, honey, yogurt and extract.
- Sprinkle in the nutmeg.
- Add the ice cubes.
- Blend on high until frothy.
This is a great get me started in the morning smoothie. Replace the banana with a peach and the vanilla extract with almond extract to make a slightly different taste. If you aren’t partial to nutmeg try cinnamon instead.
